New Tracks: The Black Clouds, “Self Control”

If you awakened today with a hankering for some early-90s grunge tones, but with a contemporary inflection, we’ve got you covered. New Jersey’s The Black Clouds are purveyors of just such a sound. The band will release their latest full-length After All on Friday, January 15th on Capacitor Records. The album was recorded with Seattle’s Jack Endino—who is best known for his work with Nirvana, Mudhoney and Soundgarden—at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606, in Northridge, CA.
